About the 2027 Southern Africa Leadership Journey
WomenLift Health’s Geographic Leadership Journey brings together talented and committed mid-to-senior women working in health within a specific region.
The programme creates a structured environment where participants can examine their leadership approach, strengthen their influence, and develop skills for navigating increasingly complex leadership responsibilities.
The Journey also places health impact at the centre of leadership development. Participants explore how stronger leadership can contribute to change across teams, organisations, and the wider health sector.

Health Impact Leadership
WomenLift Health places health impact at the beginning and end of the Leadership Journey.
Participants examine why leadership matters, the change they want to create, and how they can mobilise and develop others. The programme repeatedly connects leadership development with stronger relationships, deeper self-awareness, and strategic decision-making.
The Journey is intended to help women leaders return to their organisations with stronger leadership skills and an increased ability to contribute to collaboration, innovation, and inclusive change.
