The Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship 2027 is an achievement-based college scholarship for eligible high school students graduating during the 2026–2027 academic year. The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation selects 150 Scholars each year, with each recipient receiving a $20,000 scholarship. The 2027 application is available until September 30, 2026, at 5 pm Eastern.

About the Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship 2027
The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship recognizes students for their capacity to lead and serve and for their commitment to making an impact on their schools and communities.
The programme is achievement-based. Applicants are evaluated on leadership, academics, and service. The Foundation selects 150 Coca-Cola Scholars each year to receive the $20,000 award.
Scholarship Award
Selected Coca-Cola Scholars receive:

✓ Selection as one of 150 Coca-Cola Scholars
✓ Participation in the required Coke Scholars Weekend in Atlanta during the final selection stage

Who Can Apply?
Applicants for the 2027 Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship must meet the eligibility requirements stated by the Foundation.
Candidates must:
• Be currently enrolled high school or home-schooled students attending school in one of the 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or select Department of Defense schools.
• Graduate from high school during the 2026–2027 academic school year.
• Be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Permanent Resident, Refugee, Asylee, Cuban-Haitian Entrant, or Humanitarian Parolee under the stated federal financial-aid eligibility guidelines.
• Expect to receive a high school diploma during the current academic year.
• Plan to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution.
• Be able to verify a minimum overall B/3.0 GPA in high school coursework.
Students graduating from an American or expat school abroad are not eligible. Individuals who have already graduated from high school are also not eligible.
Who Is Not Eligible?
The official eligibility criteria exclude several applicant categories.
Applicants may not be:
• Children or grandchildren of current employees, officers, or owners of Coca-Cola bottling companies, The Coca-Cola Company, its divisions, or subsidiaries.
• Children or grandchildren of former employees who are currently receiving retirement benefits based on previous employment with the listed Coca-Cola entities.
• International students, except qualifying students attending select DoD schools.
• High school graduates.
• Temporary residents.

Phase 1 Application
The first stage is an online application. For the 2027 cycle, eligible students can submit the application until September 30, 2026.
Phase 1 requires:
✓ No essays
✓ No transcript
✓ No recommendations
The official application portal also states that the required Eligibility Quiz must be submitted by 4 pm Eastern on September 30, 2026, while the Phase 1 application deadline is 5 pm Eastern on the same day.
Coca-Cola Scholar Selection Process
The selection process includes four stages.
Phase 1: Online Application
Eligible high school students complete the initial online application. This phase does not require essays, a transcript, or recommendations.
Phase 2: Semifinalists
By the end of October, applicants are notified of their status. About 1% are named Semifinalists.
Semifinalists are invited to complete a second application due in November that includes:
• Essays
• A transcript
• A recommendation
Phase 3: Regional Finalists
From approximately 1,200 Semifinalists, 250 advance as Regional Finalists. These candidates participate in a final interview with Coke Scholar alumni and staff in late January or early February.
Phase 4: Coca-Cola Scholars
After the interviews, 150 Regional Finalists are invited to the required Coke Scholars Weekend in Atlanta in April to confirm their selection as Coca-Cola Scholars.

Application Submission
Applications must be submitted online through the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation application portal.
The Foundation does not accept Phase 1 applications by mail, email, or fax. It also does not accept additional materials intended to supplement the initial application, including transcripts, essays, or recommendation letters.
Applicants using the portal should create an account and complete the required eligibility process before submitting the Phase 1 application. The application portal advises applicants to use the same non-school email address throughout the application process.
