Who Can Apply for the ICMM Young Leaders Scholarship 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa
The official eligibility rules are clear:
• Applicants must be young leaders aged 18–35 at the time of the One Young World Summit 2026
• They must be leading inspiring initiatives or driving meaningful change through their job or outside work
• They must show proven impact in at least one of these areas: biodiversity conservation, decarbonisation, responsible natural resource production, social performance, or promoting and communicating action on sustainability
• They must be willing to engage with fellow scholarship recipients
• Applicants under 18 are not accepted
• Candidates older than 35 may still be considered if they demonstrate appropriate personal impact, initiative, and willingness to engage
