Who Can Be Considered?
The Eric Bleumink Fellowship is available to candidates who meet the programme requirements. Applicants should:
• Receive provisional or unconditional admission to a master’s programme before February.
• Demonstrate excellent academic performance, preferably supported by letters of recommendation.
• Have excellent grades from their bachelor’s or undergraduate studies.
• Meet the English language proficiency requirements of their chosen programme.
• Be able to participate throughout the entire programme period.
• Be in good health so health insurance in the Netherlands can be arranged.
• Hold the nationality of an eligible country.
• Have no other means of financing the relevant study programme.

How the Nomination Procedure Works
There is no active application process for the Eric Bleumink Fellowship. The University of Groningen Admission Office and the Admission Boards of its faculties decide which applicants will be nominated.
Candidates must first complete an application for a master’s programme. The master’s application should be submitted before 1 December to allow time for processing. Applicants must receive provisional or unconditional admission before February to remain eligible for fellowship consideration. Suitable candidates will receive information about their nomination.
