Ellison Scholars Undergraduate Scholarships
The Undergraduate Ellison Scholars Programme combines university study with practical research and innovation experience. Scholars complete a fully funded undergraduate degree at Oxford while working with EIT teams on projects designed to address real-world problems.
Applicants are selected through a competitive process. Scholars collaborate with each other and with experts in science and technology.

EIT Internship Projects
Each long vacation between academic years includes a 10-week internship at EIT. During these internships, Undergraduate Ellison Scholars work with EIT teams on existing projects.

Who Can Apply?
Applicants must satisfy the University of Oxford requirements for their chosen undergraduate course.
Candidates should:
• Have, or be on track to receive, an accepted secondary education or high school leaving qualification, diploma, or certificate.
• Meet, or be on track to meet, the minimum grades required for their selected Oxford course.
• Meet, or be on track to meet, the relevant University of Oxford English language requirements.
• Review and meet the Undergraduate Ellison Scholars selection criteria before applying.
Application and Selection Process
Applications opened on 1 May 2026 and close on 31 July 2026.
The next stages are:
• September–October 2026: Semi-finalists are chosen. They then follow the University of Oxford’s separate and independent admissions process.
• January–February 2027: Semi-finalists with an Oxford offer automatically advance to the finalist stage.
• March–April 2027: The Ellison Scholars are selected, onboarded, and announced.
• October 2027: Scholars begin their Oxford studies and EIT Oxford engagement.
