About the Scotland Pakistan Scholarships 2026–27
The scholarship scheme aims to make higher education more accessible to women in Pakistan. Selected scholars may pursue eligible degree programmes at HEC-recognised universities across the country.
The scheme includes both undergraduate and postgraduate study routes. Bachelor’s programmes may last up to four years, while master’s and MPhil programmes may last up to two years.

Scholarship Coverage
The Scotland Pakistan Scholarships provide financial assistance for selected students.

Who Can Apply?

• Study at an HEC-recognised university in Pakistan.

The scholarship does not fund PhD programmes and is not intended for study at universities outside Pakistan.
Admission Requirement
Applicants are generally expected to hold a confirmed admission offer from an HEC-recognised university in Pakistan.
However, the official FAQ provides an exception where a university announces admissions after the scholarship deadline. In that situation, an applicant may submit the scholarship application without an admission letter.
If shortlisted on academic merit and financial need, the candidate may receive a conditional offer. That offer is confirmed only after proof of university admission is provided.

IELTS and GRE Requirements
