The CERN Openlab Summer Student Programme 2026 is a highly competitive, fully funded opportunity for Bachelor’s and Master’s students. Over 9 weeks, participants will work on advanced computing projects at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research. Eligibility
- Academic Status: Currently enrolled Bachelor’s or Master’s student (PhD students are not eligible).
- Field: Strong computing profile in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
- Study Completion: Must have completed at least 3 years of full-time university study by the program start date.
- Enrollment Status: Must remain registered as a student throughout the entire duration of the internship.
- Prior Experience: Must not have previously worked at CERN for more than 3 months under any status.
- Language: Good knowledge of English is required.
