The Caribbean Climate Leaders Fellowship 2026 will support two emerging Caribbean professionals to participate in COP31 as part of the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC) delegation. Funded by the Caribbean Development Bank, the fellowship includes participation in COP31 in Antalya, Türkiye, from 9–20 November 2026. About the Caribbean Climate Leaders Fellowship 2026
The Caribbean Climate Leaders Fellowship is designed to provide emerging Caribbean professionals with direct exposure to the international climate process.
Two selected fellows will join the CCCCC delegation during COP31 in Antalya. Their participation will provide exposure to the United Nations climate process while connecting their experience with the Caribbean region’s engagement at COP31.
The fellowship extends beyond attendance at the conference. It also includes preparation before COP31 and knowledge-sharing activities after the conference.
Fellowship Funding and Covered Expenses
The Caribbean Climate Leaders Fellowship 2026 is fully funded. Selected fellows receive support for the main expenses connected with their participation in COP31.
The confirmed support includes:

Who Can Apply?
The fellowship is intended for emerging Caribbean professionals.
Applicants must:
• Be a Caribbean national
• Be between 18 and 30 years old
• Meet the professional and organizational requirements stated by CCCCC
The programme will select two fellows to participate with the CCCCC delegation at COP31.
Fellowship Experience
Selected participants will engage with the programme across three connected stages.
Preparation Before COP31
Fellows will participate in preparatory activities before travelling to Türkiye. This stage forms part of the wider fellowship experience leading into COP31.
COP31 Participation
The fellows will join the CCCCC delegation in Antalya from 9–20 November 2026. They will receive Blue Zone observer access as part of the fellowship support.
The experience is intended to provide direct exposure to the UN climate process and the Caribbean region’s engagement at COP31.
Post-Conference Knowledge Sharing
The fellowship continues after COP31 through knowledge-sharing activities. Fellows are expected to use their conference experience as part of the programme’s post-COP engagement.
