Knight-Hennessy Scholars 2027 is a multidisciplinary leadership development programme for graduate students at Stanford University. Scholars join the programme alongside their graduate studies at one of Stanford’s seven schools. They receive up to three years of financial support and participate in experiences designed to prepare them for leadership roles across different sectors.

About Knight-Hennessy Scholars 2027
Knight-Hennessy Scholars is a fully-endowed leadership development programme for Stanford University graduate students. It brings together scholars from different disciplines, nationalities, perspectives, and backgrounds.
All scholars enrol in a graduate degree programme at one of Stanford University’s seven schools. Alongside their academic studies, they take part in programming that supports their development as leaders.
Leadership Development Programme
Scholars participate in up to three years of programming that complements their graduate studies. The programme prepares them to take on leadership roles in academia, industry, government, nonprofits, and the wider community.
Knight-Hennessy Scholars emphasizes three core characteristics:

Financial Support
Knight-Hennessy scholars receive financial support for up to three years, depending on the length of their degree programme.
The support includes:

Scholar Community
A new cohort joins the Knight-Hennessy community each year. Scholars learn together, collaborate on projects, and build connections across disciplines and backgrounds.
