Romanian State Scholarships 2026–2027
ARICE has announced a selection procedure for scholarships awarded by the Romanian state. The call covers 40 scholarships for foreign citizens for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Applicants must submit their files according to the published procedure. Applications are handled electronically during the official submission period.
Application Procedure
The application process requires candidates to:
• Prepare the required application file.
• Scan the documents and save them in PDF format.
• Send the complete PDF file to burse2026@arice.gov.ro.
• Complete the submission before the official deadline.
Original documents are not required during the electronic submission stage. Selected candidates must later present the originals to the educational institutions where they will study.
Evaluation and Results
The ARICE Selection Committee will evaluate the submitted files. This assessment will be based on the documents provided by each candidate.
ARICE will complete the intermediate selection process by 15 September 2026. The results of this stage will be posted on the agency’s website in the Scholarships section.
The Ministry of Education and Research will make the final scholarship decisions using its own selection criteria. Final results will appear on the ARICE website, and selected candidates will be informed by email.
Before the 2026–2027 academic year begins, the Ministry of Education and Research will issue the relevant acceptance letters or enrollment orders through its General Directorate for International Relations and European Affairs.
Application Deadline
Applications must arrive no later than 12 June 2026 at 14:00 Romanian time. Incomplete applications and files received after the deadline will not be considered.
