The FutureMinds Summit Thailand 2026 will gather young leaders in Bangkok for four days of SDG-focused dialogue, workshops, collaboration, and cultural exchange. The summit gives participants space to discuss sustainability and present ideas linked to four selected United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

About FutureMinds Summit Thailand 2026

FutureMinds Summit Thailand, or FMST 2026, is described as a four-day global gathering of young leaders. It will be held in Bangkok, Thailand’s capital, from 16 to 19 July 2026.

The programme theme is “Exploring Sustainability through Innovative Minds.” Moreover, the summit brings together students, volunteers, professionals, leaders, policymakers, innovators, experts, social activists, and civil society representatives from around the world.

Summit Themes

The programme highlights four focus areas.

• SDG 4: Quality Education
• SDG 5: Gender Equality
• SDG 9: Innovation
• SDG 13: Climate Action

Participation Options

Applicants can choose from different participation categories. The fully funded and partially funded option is selection-based. Applicants in this category must submit an application form, write an essay, and complete the review process.

The source states that the top 10 applicants will receive fully funded seats. The next 10 will receive partially funded seats. However, the partially funded slots do not include airfare because airfare is only covered for fully funded participants.

Forum Access and Self-Funded categories are confirmed-seat options. Forum Access is listed at USD 199 after USD 300, while Self-Funded is listed at USD 349 after USD 450.

Who Can Apply

The eligibility criteria are broad and inclusive.

• Applicants of all nationalities may apply
• All educational and professional fields are accepted
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old
• IELTS and TOEFL are not required
• Students, volunteers, graduates, change-makers, social entrepreneurs, and professionals can apply
• Applicants must attend the summit in Bangkok from 16 to 19 July 2026

Review Criteria

The selection review focuses on the applicant’s motivation and leadership profile.

• A 250–300-word personal statement is required
• The statement should explain motivation for joining the summit
• It should explain what the applicant hopes to gain
• It should also explain how the summit will support the applicant’s career
• Applicants should show commitment through a personal essay
• Applicants should have leadership skills, SDG interest, and a visionary mindset
• Volunteering or leadership experience is preferred, but not required

Programme Schedule

The agenda starts with arrival, accommodation check-in, opening ceremony, and a welcome dinner on Day 1. Then, Day 2 begins the main learning programme with opening remarks, a guest speaker address, educational workshops, discussion forums, lunch, and a coffee break.

Day 3 focuses on innovation and collaboration. It includes breakfast, interactive sessions, mentor-guided problem solving, the GYN “4:04” community session, certifications, and Cultural Night. Finally, Day 4 includes breakfast and departure activities.

How to Apply

Applicants should follow the official steps.

• Select a category: Fully Funded, Partially Funded, Forum Access, or Self-Funded
• Complete the application
• Review all answers
• Pay the application fee
• Submit the form
• Wait for confirmation

The funded-category application fee is USD 18.50 and is non-refundable. The payment can be made by debit card, credit card, or Google Pay through Stripe.

Visa and Travel Documents

GYN provides visa assistance through an official invitation letter, proof of accommodation, and programme location. However, the embassy makes the final visa decision, and GYN does not guarantee approval.

Applicants should prepare a valid passport before the summit. If they do not have a passport at the application stage, they may use a National Identity Card or student ID for now.
