The SEAP Fellowship 2026 is open as a 3-month remote fellowship by Nationality for All (NFA). It is intended for early-career human rights professionals and can be completed from the participant’s home country without any need to relocate or travel abroad.
What the SEAP Fellowship 2026 Offers
The fellowship is full-time and will run from June 15, 2026, to September 11, 2026. Its main focus is to strengthen leadership, advocacy, and policy engagement skills among emerging global leaders.
Participants will also work with an international human rights organization and take part in activities connected to regional knowledge-building, advocacy, research, fact-checking, and citation management.
Stipend and Coverage
Fellows will receive a monthly stipend of AUD 200 to AUD 400, and the amount depends on the fellow’s location.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants need to show the following:
• Strong desk research skills
• Good writing ability
• Analytical ability
• Attention to detail
• Ability to synthesize information clearly
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently
• Reliability in meeting deadlines
• Consistent remote communication
They should also have background knowledge in:
• Human rights
• Law
• Public policy
• International relations
• Related disciplines
Knowledge of citizenship rights, statelessness, and legal identity systems is highly desirable, although it is not required.
Experience in research projects, human rights initiatives, non-profit organizations, or civil society organizations is an advantage, but it is not mandatory.
SEAP Fellowship 2026 Responsibilities
The SEAP Fellows will support the NFA research team in updating the Second Edition of SEAP. Their work includes fact-checking, additional research, website updates, report revisions, and citation integration.
The listed tasks are:
• Reviewing and fact-checking existing SEAP country factsheets
• Conducting supplementary desk research where updates are needed
• Verifying legal, policy, and statistical information
• Updating SEAP content on the website
• Revising report materials and keeping outputs consistent
• Adding and verifying citations across SEAP website content
• Ensuring citation accuracy and source integrity
