Applications are open for the Flinders University Clinician PhD Scholarships in Australia. This Flinders University Clinician PhD Scholarships program is a funded PhD scholarship for clinicians who want to complete higher degree by research study at Flinders University. The scholarship runs for 3.5 years, and scholars are expected to work full time during the program.
What the Program Includes
The scholarship supports clinicians of diverse disciplines and gives them the opportunity to study in either the College of Medicine and Public Health or the College of Health and Enablement. In addition, selected scholars will complete research and development activities related to their doctoral research area.

Who Can Apply?
• Applicants must be eligible to enroll in a PhD program.
• They must already be admitted, or be eligible for admission, to a PhD program at Flinders University.
• Applicants for the College of Medicine and Public Health should focus on medicine, biomedical sciences, or public health.
• Medical professionals must be registered to practise in Australia.
• Applicants for the College of Health and Enablement should focus on nursing, midwifery, or allied health.
• Allied health professionals must be registered to practise in Australia.
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clinicians and rural and remote clinicians are highly encouraged to apply.
Selection Criteria
The selection committee ranks candidates using academic performance, research achievements, the research project, and the research environment and supervisor. Those with the highest percentages rank higher, and that improves the chance of selection.

• Include a research environment and supervisory team statement.
