Applications are open for the WTO Young Professionals Program 2027. This is a fully funded international opportunity at the WTO headquarters in Geneva. It is a one-year training program, and it is expected to start in January 2027.
What the Program Offers
The program gives selected participants hands-on experience with the WTO’s work and key international trade issues. It is a paid professional program, and applicants may indicate up to three preferred areas of work in order of preference.

Eligibility
• Applicants must be nationals of a WTO member state.
• Only applications from nationals of WTO Members are accepted.
• Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Applicants must have an advanced university degree, such as a Master’s or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in International Trade, Economics, or Law/Political Science is required.
• Applicants must be 32 years old or younger.
• Strong English communication skills are required.
