The Sandoz Scholarship 2026 supports young leaders who are working to tackle barriers to healthcare access. Through this opportunity, One Young World and Sandoz will select five outstanding young leaders contributing to global health, healthcare innovation, or access to medicines.
About the Scholarship

The selected scholars will be part of the global Sandoz delegation and attend the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa. The programme is positioned as a chance to connect with others, collaborate, and strengthen the impact of existing work in healthcare access.
Scholarship Benefits

Eligibility
• Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old
• Applicants must demonstrate a clear commitment to creating positive change
• Applicants must show leadership potential
• Applicants must understand key issues affecting their community or the wider world
• Applicants must have experience developing practical or innovative solutions that improve healthcare or reduce healthcare inequalities
The scholarship page also states that applicants over 30 may still be considered if they show strong personal impact, initiative, and willingness to engage. However, applicants under 18 at the time of the Summit are not eligible.
