The NSTC International Internship in Taiwan 2026 (International Internship Pilot Program – IIPP) is a paid international internship offered by the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) in Taiwan. It invites international students to gain hands-on experience in academic and research institutions, broaden their global network, and deepen their understanding of Taiwan’s strengths in science, technology, and research.

Internship Benefits
Selected interns will receive:

● Are proficient in English, Mandarin, or Taiwanese as required by the internship environment
● Are not receiving funding from other government departments during the internship period

Internship Duration and Timing
The internship runs for up to 3 months (28 to 90 days). Interns may begin their internship any time between June and December 2026, depending on project availability and academic schedules.

Host and Location
Interns are placed in academic and research institutions across Taiwan, where they participate in research projects supervised by local principal investigators.
