The Kofi Annan Fellowship in Global Health Leadership 2026 is a fully funded leadership fellowship designed to equip senior public health professionals in Africa with advanced skills to strategize, manage, and lead large‑scale public health programmes that drive transformation across the continent.

Who Can Apply?
This fellowship is open to candidates who meet the following criteria:
● Be a citizen of an African Union Member State
● Hold a postgraduate degree in a public health‑related field (such as One Health, human medicine, health policy, epidemiology, sexual and reproductive health, environmental health, finance, or related disciplines)
● Have at least 10 years of professional experience after completing a master’s degree
● Be in full‑time employment in a public health role within a public or private institution
● Demonstrate leadership capacity or strong leadership potential

● Employer support letter confirming full participation
● Two professional recommendation letters
● Personal statement (maximum 400 words) outlining commitment to public health and leadership vision
● Leadership challenge project proposal (maximum 400 words) describing a public health challenge and proposed strategy
