The Discover Canada Alberta Cultural Exchange Program 2026 offers international participants a unique 4-day experience (May 26–29, 2026) across Calgary, Banff, and Kananaskis—exploring Canadian culture, nature, leadership, and global dialogue. Through this initiative, you can travel to Canada fully funded or partially funded, discover new cultures, and build an international network.
This program is organized under the Discover Canada – Cultural Exchange Program and officially managed by the Canadian Center for Cultural Diplomacy (CCCD). It is one of Canada’s most successful cultural exchange formats designed to promote intercultural understanding and strengthen international collaboration.
Discover Canada programs have already been successfully held in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Niagara, and Vancouver, welcoming hundreds of global participants and showcasing Canada’s cultural richness. The program is fully open to all nationalities, with no citizenship restrictions.
No IELTS is required, and a strong travel history is not mandatory—the main criteria are motivation, interest in Canadian culture, and willingness to learn.
During the program, participants explore Alberta’s most iconic natural wonders—Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Peyto Lake, Banff National Park, and Kananaskis—along with cultural and historical tours across Calgary. The experience includes leadership sessions, cultural activities, and international networking opportunities.
The program offers two funding options: Fully Funded and Partially Funded.
