Program Overview
The 26th International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2026), organized by the International AIDS Society (IAS), is the world’s largest gathering focused on HIV/AIDS. Centered on the theme “Rethink. Rebuild. Rise.”, the conference offers scholarships to ensure global participation from researchers, healthcare professionals, advocates, and students working on the HIV response.

Program Benefits and Coverage
The Scholarship Programme offers two main types of support:
- In-Person Scholarship (Fully Covered Travel & Stay):
- Full conference registration (In-person and Virtual access).
- Return economy class flight ticket.
- Accommodation (single room in a budget hotel) for the full conference duration.
- Daily allowance (Daily Subsistence Allowance) for meals and local needs.
- Virtual Scholarship:
- Full online registration and access to all live-streamed and recorded sessions.
- All Recipients Receive: Two years of free IAS membership following the conference.
Eligibility
- Age: Must be 18 years or older by 26 July 2026.
- Involvement: Must be actively working, volunteering, or studying in the field of HIV.
- Priority Considerations: Priority is given to applicants who demonstrate the greatest need and impact potential, including:
- Abstract presenters and workshop facilitators.
- Individuals from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
- People from key populations and people living with HIV.
- Young/Early-career investigators (under 35 years old).
- Applicants who have not previously received a scholarship for an International AIDS Conference.
